Derek is a very highly regarded Chartered Accountant with over 17 years experience in public practice.

Derek graduated from university in 1987 and started his career with Ernst & Young in early 1988. He worked with clients such as AMP, Boral, Philadelphia National Bank, HCF Health Funds, Westpac and Memorex.

Derek left Ernst & Young at the end of 1991 and took up a position with the newly formed firm of Pritchard Seymour.

Derek remained at Pritchard Seymour for over 12 years. The firm grew from 2 partner with 6 staff to a flourishing 5 partners and over 40 staff. Derek was with the firm as it grew and was rewarded in 1999 when he was made a partner. This also coincided with the firm changing their name to Brentnalls.

Derek has recently left Brentalls in order to commence public practice and set up in Caringbah in September 2004.

Derek has an excellent tax & accounting knowledge and remains up to date on the latest developments via update courses run by the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

• Bachelor of Commerce (Major in Accountancy) University of Wollongong

Tristen has worked in the accounting profession for over 10 years in both commerce and public practice. His last five years have been spent specialising in taxation, superannuation and the provision of financial advice to a wide range of clients from wealth accumulators to retirees.

Tristen has a Bachelor of Commerce degree, from the University of Wollongong. He also holds the internationally recognized Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) qualification with a ‘Financial Planning Specialist’ (FPS) designation. As part of this qualification, Tristen is required to undertake ongoing educational and professional development to ensure that he is fully aware of current industry information and able to service client needs professionally.

Tristen is an Authorised Representative of The Salisbury Group Pty Ltd (ABN 51 089 332 918), AFSL 225379
